Short story being published in a book!!!

Austin came home two weeks ago and said he had to write a short story essay in English class for homework. I asked him if he did it and he said he just finished it in the car. Well I was very curious to read what he wrote and he wasn't sure if he wanted me to read it. I said "What's wrong?' he said its not good,I said I'm sure you did your best,Can I read it?OK!!! and I did. WOW!!! and tears came out of me while I read it. Austin wrote a story about what it would be like in the past and future and it was awesome.Last week I got a letter from his school teacher and a letter in the mail saying Your essay was selected as one of High Merit and was chosen to be published.WOW!!! I was so excited Austin loves to write,but usually his grammar isn't always how it should be,but this year he is doing great and loving and learning alot in English and writing skills.
